Whitsunday Powersports and Marine is seeking a motivated and reliable Spare Parts & Sales Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.

We’re a locally owned and operated business, passionate about all things marine—from outboards to jet skis and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct spare parts and accessories.
  • Handle in-person, phone, and email inquiries with professionalism and product knowledge.
  • Maintain inventory levels and stock display areas.
  • Process sales and orders using point-of-sale systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers and assist with stock ordering
  • Keep the showroom clean, organised, and customer-ready
  • Provide general support to the sales and workshop teams

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (training provided on specific systems)
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred but Not Essential:

  • Knowledge of boats, marine accessories, or outboard motors
  • Experience in parts sales or a similar retail environment
